Another in our Waterlilies series, this lovely plant floats serenely on ponds all over Europe, especially Britain. It has long been used as a painkiller, calmative, and antispasmodic, even substituting for Opium in the trenches of World War II.
It has also been used for many conditions related to tension or anxiety, such as irritable bowel syndrome, hypertension, and insomnia.
We have found this Waterlily to be the heaviest of the several we work with, having the strongest effects of sedation, dreaminess, and slowing of all bodily and mental functions.
