Frankincense Ritual Oil

This ritual oil is made from Spagyrically refined and opened Frankincense resin, infused into Organic extra virgin olive oil in a long, slow process.

This Frankincense Ritual Oil is warm in scent and energy, and really carries the quality of the trees it is sourced from. In ritual use, it is wonderful for connecting with the Solar archetype of Tiphareth and the deities that reside in that Sephira, such as Osiris or Yeshua, Mithras, and others. It unites the energy of the celebrant with the higher, more divine aspects of their own nature and that of the Archetype, and so it is also useful for rituals of guidance, manifestation, and Angel magic.

It goes on as a subtle note, but opens as it warms on the skin and acquires life from the energy of the ritual and the vitality of the practitioner. As it moves outwards, it also suffuses the wearer with its intelligence, gradually fading as the ritual comes to a close, but helping the energies of the practice stay held within as normal life is resumed.

In mundane use, it is calming and steadying, helping the user connect to a deep source of wisdom from above and within, easing anxiety and indecisiveness.

Note that this ritual oil does not contain isolated essential oils, and so it is much less assertive than other oils or perfumes. Many people who find essential oil-based scents harsh and irritating are able to use our infused oils, and they hold closer to the body and are more personal to the wearer alone. We find this makes them perfect companions for magical work, in which the practitioner seeks “to know, to dare, to will, and to keep silent”.
