This herb gets its common name from centuries of observation by shepherds, who say that goats copulate with much more frequency after grazing on the plant. This action has been supported by studies of other animals, as well as centuries of use in China, where this herb is known as Yin-Yang Huo.
Yin-Yang Huo is considered the most powerful aphrodisiac herb, but it acts in a balanced way, increasing Yang (male virility and drive) without damaging Yin (female receptivity and peace). This herb is also an overall tonic and restorative, and brings warm feelings of euphoria and increases nerve sensitivity in the genital areas.
