Mulungu

This tree is indigenous to Brazil, Peru, and other tropical areas in South America, where it is widely used medicinally and for jewelry; beads being made from its hard, shiny, black and red seeds.

Mulungu’s main use is as a calmative and nervine, to promote healthy sleep patterns, decrease anxiety, lower blood pressure, and calm the entire body-mind system. It is also anti-inflammatory and relieves pain, and has been used to assist with drug and alcohol withdrawal.
