Ingredients: Spagyrics of Socotran Aloe, Kua Myrrh, Saffron and Oil of Gold
This formula was made famous by Paracelsus, the creator of the Spagyric art, who wrote of it:
There are also some other things which preserve the body from corruption in a new and strong essence of Nature when a man is confirmed by them, as aloes, saffron and myrrh.
This formula first appears in the first century writings of Rufus of Ephesus, but it is Paracelsus and his followers, Van Helmont and Oswald Croll, who wrote about it in the most detail. The formula is simple- just Aloe, Saffron, and Myrrh, as Paracelsus describes in his writings.
In our version of the Elixir, we used Socotran Aloe and Kua Myrrh, and for the Saffron component, we used our Saffron+Gold mineral Spagyric. This gives the formula a vibrance and Solar brightness, and the whole formula together has an outward, protective push to it which can be felt in the Wei Qi or defensive energy shield.
Its intelligence is peaceful, steady, and grounding, but not in a solely downward way, but more like the wide-reaching buttress roots of a great tree. Perhaps this ancient tree energy is part of its legendary gift of revitalizing in old age, and granting a “long and sound life” to those who take it.
