In Africa, the Blue Waterlily is equally beloved as an intoxicating and enlightening flower, and the Mayan and European waterlilies play important roles in their mythos, as well.

Lotuses and Waterlilies grow in similar conditions and share an ethereal, flowing beauty, and they are often confused with each other, but they are different beings with distinct botanical and magickal qualities.

In this beautifully illustrated talk, we will explore the growth habits of Lotus and Waterlily, and how their life in Nature shows us their gifts in ritual practice. We’ll discover the remarkably similar ideas about Waterliles from ancient Egypt and the Maya, and we will learn about the transcendent wisdom that Sacred Lotus can help us embody.

Practical exercises and meditation techniques will be shared for connecting to each one, drawn from my own work in Nature and my Spagyric lab, and useful for many kinds of magickal, meditative, and spiritual paths.
