Duanwood Reishi Spore

Reishi spores are very concentrated expressions of all the healing power of the mushroom: immune and defense-boosting properties, balanced energy support, and healing to the Shen spirit of the Heart. Until recently, it was impossible to extract spores well, since they are protected by hard cell walls that do not break open in conventional extraction.

After some research, we found a company selling opened and activated Reishi spores that we then extract in our Spagyric process to make this Spiritualized Essence as well as our Three Treasures Reishi.

Of all the forms of Reishi we’ve worked with, this one most expresses the Shen tonic properties the mushroom is known for. It brings a peaceful lift to the Heart center, dissipating sadness and anxiety that deplete that energy.

It also creates an open flow of subtle energy throughout the system, relaxing tension with an “untangling” feeling. This would be useful for all kinds of energy work, from receiving massage or Reiki, to working with one’s own energy flow through practices like Tai Qi or Qigong.
